STORY
1953

It all began with the construction of a wine cellar at the old train station in Täsch. In the 1950s and 1960s, Raymond Imboden temporarily stored the wine in large casks there and then sold it in the region (Randa – Täsch – Zermatt). In 1952 the construction of a two-story wooden house in chalet style continued on top of the existing wine cellar.

In 1953, Raymond Imboden received the concession for the “Restaurant-Pension Bahnhof” and nothing could stand in the way of opening a tea room on the ground floor.
